Refurbishment of student accommodation at Eden Court, University of York

Internal refurbishment and minor alterations to residential accommodation.

There were existing Student Accommodation buildings around the site that were occupied by students when the main works commenced. All access routes to these buildings were maintained at all times.

Work comprised of:

  • 76 Bedrooms (including decoration, new flooring, new WHB installation)
  • Kitchens (including decoration, new flooring, new fire doors, new full kitchen installation)
  • Bathrooms (including new flooring, new shower installation, new WC and WHB installation)
  • Common Parts (including formation of a new ground floor corridor between two houses, formation of new door openings, blocking up existing openings, new external fire exit door, decoration, new flooring, alterations to lighting)
